Disability Champions

GOOD works with a range of charities and ministries to highlight the ‘good’ work that they do, and to help them gain recognition and support. This month, GOOD is highlighting the awesome groups around the country who work with the disabled community and people of all abilities, advocating for and supporting them in their daily lives.

Across our communities, disability champions are doing incredible work every single day. These remarkable people are the unsung heroes who bring care, dignity, and joy to the lives of people with disabilities. Opening doors to opportunities and putting smiles on faces.

So how can you help? You could offer your time as a volunteer, or support a local NDIS organisation by donating. Sometimes, it’s as simple as taking a moment to encourage a champion working in disability care.
