A New Season of Stories Is Coming to GOOD

As spring draws closer, we’re excited to share a fresh collection of inspiring stories coming soon to GOOD.

Every new movie and documentary we add to the platform represents something much bigger than simply expanding our library. It’s another opportunity to encourage families, spark meaningful conversations and bring hope into homes right across Australia.

None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of our supporters. Your faithful giving allows us to continue sourcing high-quality, uplifting entertainment that reflects the values we cherish. Because of you, we’re able to introduce stories that inspire courage, celebrate compassion and remind us of the resilience of the human spirit.

Here are just three of the new titles we can look forward to in the spring:

SIGHT

A Remarkable True Story of Vision, Perseverance and Purpose

Inspired by the extraordinary life of world-renowned eye surgeon Dr Ming Wang, SIGHT follows a young boy who flees Communist China before overcoming extraordinary obstacles to become one of the world’s leading ophthalmologists. Blending gripping drama with heartfelt humanity, this inspiring true story explores forgiveness, faith and the life-changing impact one person can have on countless others. It’s a powerful reminder that even life’s darkest moments can become the beginning of something extraordinary.

BRAVE THE DARK

When One Person Believes in You, Everything Can Change

Sometimes all it takes is one person willing to see the potential in someone everyone else has overlooked.

Based on an inspiring true story, BRAVE THE DARK follows a troubled teenager whose life begins to change when a compassionate teacher steps in, offering hope where others only saw failure. As trust slowly grows between them, both teacher and student discover that healing often begins with simple acts of kindness, patience and unconditional belief.

Emotional, uplifting and deeply moving, this is a story about second chances, the power of mentorship and the extraordinary difference one caring person can make.

FOR MY FATHER’S KINGDOM

A Beautiful Documentary About Family, Faith and Cultural Identity

Spring also brings one of the most moving documentaries we’ve featured in some time.

FOR MY FATHER’S KINGDOM follows Tongan-born academic and community leader Professor Jione Havea as he reflects on family, culture, faith and what it means to belong. Through intimate conversations and breathtaking cinematography, the film explores the richness of Pacific Island life while gently asking universal questions about identity, legacy and the values we pass on to future generations.

Thoughtful, visually stunning and deeply personal, it’s a documentary that invites us to slow down, listen and appreciate the stories that shape who we are.

Most importantly, every new title represents the generosity of a community that believes positive entertainment matters.
