✨ Easter – New Life, New Hope
BY: GOOD.
As the world awakens this Sunday morning, Easter invites us into a season of renewal, hope and transformation. It’s a time when stories of grief and loss are met with surprise and joy – a reminder that even in our darkest moments, God’s light can break through.
Easter isn’t just about one day; it’s about the ongoing promise that new life is possible. We know that pain, uncertainty and disappointment touch every life. We’ve all experienced seasons where hope feels distant and the weight of life feels heavy. Yet the message of Easter stands firm: darkness does not have the last word.
Through the resurrection, we see that God is in the business of making all things new. Where there has been brokenness, there is the possibility of healing. Where there has been loss, there is space for restored joy. And where life feels uncertain, there is a promise of unwavering presence because we serve a God who walked through the hardest part of life alongside us.
This Easter, we are invited to lean into that hope, not as a distant idea, but as a living reality that reaches into our everyday lives. We are invited to trust that love is stronger than fear, and that life – renewed, restored and redeemed – is waiting for us.
📖 Bible Reflection
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.’”
— John 11:25 (ESV)
This verse reminds us that Easter is not merely a historical moment, but a living promise – a promise that the resurrection power of Christ is at work even now, bringing life where it feels absent, courage where there is fear, and hope where there is despair.
🙏 Easter Prayer
Dear God,
On this Easter morning we come with open hearts – grateful for the gift of new life, deep in awe of Your love that never fails.
Where we feel wounded or weary, bring healing.
Where we doubt, bring faith.
Where we feel lost, bring peace.
May the joy of Your resurrection fill our lives with light, hope and courage.
Help us to live in the freedom You have won for us, and to share Your love with everyone we meet.
Amen.
