If you’re a fan of WHEN CALLS THE HEART, you’ve probably heard whispers about the Hearties Family Reunion – and for good reason. This much-loved annual event is a dream come true for fans, bringing Hearties together from all over the world to celebrate the show, the cast, and the community that makes it so special.

What is the Hearties Family Reunion?

The Hearties Family Reunion is an official fan event dedicated to WHEN CALLS THE HEART. It’s a chance for fans to step into the world of Hope Valley, connect with fellow Hearties, and experience the magic of the show in real life.

Held in Canada (where the series is filmed), the event offers a unique behind-the-scenes experience you simply can’t get anywhere else.

The reunion has been running for several years now, growing bigger and more popular each time. What started as a smaller fan gathering has become a highly anticipated annual event, with Hearties returning year after year – and new fans eager to attend for the first time.

What happens at the reunion?

This is a full fan experience. Activities often include:

  • Meet-and-greets with cast members
  • Q&A panels and live interviews
  • Behind-the-scenes stories and insights
  • Photo opportunities
  • Set visits (including Hope Valley locations!)
  • Fan events and themed activities

But more than anything, it’s about the community. Hearties describe it as warm, welcoming, and unforgettable – like stepping into a real-life version of the show’s heart and values.

How do you get to go along?

Because of its popularity, you can’t just buy a ticket like a regular event. Spots are limited, and attendance is usually determined through an application ballot process through the HFR website: https://heartiesfamilyreunion.com/

To apply, you’ll typically need to:

  • Keep an eye on official WHEN CALLS THE HEART or Hallmark sites for date announcements
  • Fill out an online application form
  • Share why you’d love to attend

Successful applicants are then invited to purchase tickets and join the experience. (Travel and accomodation costs are not included in the purchase price.)

With dates for this year’s event announced as the 1-4 October, registration opens very soon! (April 20th – 26th)
