Another relaxed night, but the Aussie Hearties chat was buzzing as WHEN CALLS THE HEART Season 13 Episode 4 unfolded — and Emily, Wen, Joy and Sharon made sure we didn’t miss a beat! 😄🫶

So what did everyone have to say? What did you think of season 13 episode 4? A beautiful mix of tension, honesty, community, and heart 💛 — with brave confessions, a town coming together, and one very adorable kitten to end it all 🐱✨

Right away, things got serious as the fire storyline continued:
“The boys telling Bill and Nathan… they thought it was them who lit the fire.” — Emily 😳
“yeah, good on them for being honest” — Joy 👏
“Oh dear!” — Wen 😬

Meanwhile, trouble was brewing elsewhere…
“Edie packing up.” — Emily
“Edie shutting out Lucas” — Wen 💔
“yeah, ouch” — Joy 😢

And of course, classic Emily curiosity:
“What is Allie in a rush for?” — Emily 👀
“Allie might be planning a bday something for Oliver!” — Wen 🎂✨

The kids were deep in discussion too:
“Kids are talking amongst themselves on the fire.” — Emily 🤔

Then… an unexpected emotional moment:
“Aaw, McGinty is a cat lover!” — Wen 🐱
“Aww Mr McGinty was taking his cat to the park to bury him.” — Emily 💔
“Mr Mittens 💖” — Sharon 😭

A tough day for Nathan, but Elizabeth lets him know how appreciated he is for his integrity, strength and compassion.

Allie is excited…

Then the BIG reveal:
“A surprise party for Oliver!” — Emily 🎉
“Allie the party planner. She’s got some good helpers though.” — Sharon 👏

Who knew Elizabeth was such a good cook now?
“Remember when she burnt everything?” – Sharon
And wasn’t it always made with lard?

And a win for Rosemary 🙌
“Thankyou Rosemary for not publishing that on the boys.” — Emily 📰

The town tensions rose during the meeting:
“Town meeting on the fire investigation” — Emily
“Oh dear, the fire victims are struggling with the people of Hope Valley.” — Emily 😟

But Elizabeth stepped up (of course 💛):
“Elizabeth giving a kind speech.” — Emily
“Elizabeth bringing a rational statement to all” — Wen 👏
“well said Elizabeth” — Joy
“Good one E.” — Sharon 🙌

Then… drama 😳
“Uh oh where’s he off to” — Sharon
“Cooper running away?” — Emily 😱
“Thank goodness she caught him” — Sharon
“Minnie’s beautiful love for Cooper” — Wen 🫶
“Great mother son moment” — Sharon ❤️

So many emotions in one episode!

Back to Hope Valley fun 🎉 Allie is getting organised.
“Time for the party.” — Emily
“It’s a plan” — Sharon 😄

Elsewhere in town, Mike is standing up for himself and Mei. And a troubled Lee seeks out Pastor Joseph.

“Maisie taking over lol” — Joy 😂

And some classic Hope Valley sass:
“You’re not the mayor here! Nice one Mike” — Sharon 🤭

Plus wisdom from Joseph:
“Good counsel Joseph” — Joy
“Mercy means the most when it’s hardest to give, Lee” — Sharon 💛

Then a big moment for Lucas:
“Lucas going for 2nd term as governor.” — Emily
“Lucas. An honest governor!” — Wen 👏

Party time!!! 🥳🎂

The boys returned…

“Haha, Maisie gave Oliver one of Mike’s ties!!” — Wen 😂
