What did you think of WHEN CALLS THE HEART S13 Ep7?
The excitement was building well before the episode even began, with Emily kicking things off early saying “Can’t wait for tonight’s episode. It’s a good one. I’ll be here to chat along,” while Wen added “Hope tonight’s episode is as entertaining as last week’s!” — safe to say, expectations were high 😄
So what did everyone have to say? What did you think of season 13 episode 7?
As we counted down, it was the usual pre-show chaos — buffering worries, logging in struggles, and Emily joking “I hope my internet allows me to watch it… I’m out of downloads again lol” — but then finally… “Here we go!” 🎬
🍓 A Sweet Start… That Quickly Turns Busy
We opened with the Coulters and Gwendolyn, and Emily summed it up perfectly: “all happy as a family” 💛 — a lovely calm before the storm.

But it didn’t take long for things to escalate:
“Looks like all of Hope Valley is sick,” Emily noted, while at the same time Minnie’s world was about to get very busy…
“Big order from a hotel for Minnie’s jam!” Wen shared, as Emily added the iconic pun “that puts you in a jam” 😂
And just like that… it became a full town effort:
“All hands on deck for the jam making” — Wen
“Jamboree!” — Emily
Honestly, the energy was infectious 🍓✨

🍇 Jam, Chaos & Community Spirit
What followed was peak Hope Valley — everyone pitching in, getting messy, and somehow making it work.
“Mike and Mei mushing the berries,” Emily said, while Wen added “that jam stomping with Mei and Mike looks so fun!” — though things quickly turned when Emily worried “oh dear Mike… I hope you don’t get a reaction” 😬

🐝 Trouble Strikes (and Mike Pays the Price)
Just when things couldn’t get more hectic… they did.
“Oh no, Mike has an allergic reaction to the bee sting,” Wen said, while Sharon laughed “lol… Mike!” And in Mike’s own words, “That’s cwazy!”
And it only got more chaotic from there:
“Oh poor Mike, he’s delirious, 5 little Hickham juniors!” — Wen 😂
“Great prosthetics and make up on Mike,” Tracy added — because honestly, that swelling was next level 😅
💔… A Darker Mystery Unfolds
While jam chaos ruled the town, a more serious storyline was brewing.
“Someone’s trying to take out Christopher!” Wen said, as the tension ramped up
“That is terrible… was that deliberate???” Emily questioned

Later, things escalated even further:
“The driver’s face was covered so sounds like it was intentional,” Emily observed — and suddenly this storyline took a much darker turn 👀
Those make up artist sure had their work cut out for them this episode… so much blood!

Meanwhile…, the chaos kept building:
“Runaway horse in town!” — Wen 🐎
“Fernando is wooing the horse!” — Wen
“Here comes Fernando to save the day… with singing?!” — Sharon 😂
And Lucas? Not quite the hero this time:
“Lucas trying to get the horse… but misses,” Emily noted, as Fernando stepped in like the ultimate horse whisperer 😏

🍋 The Great Jam Disaster
As if 500 jars wasn’t stressful enough… someone forgot the sugar 😳.
Hang on, doesn’t sugar go in the pot while you’re cooking the fruit?! That’s some weird recipe Minnie, but it must taste good, if that hotel wants 500 jars!
“Uh oh, no sugar added!!!” Wen spotted
“Oh it’s too tart!” Emily reacted
Cue full panic mode:
“Operation track that jam is on!!” — Wen. Or operation “Sourpuss” as Rosemary called it.
Watching everyone scramble to fix it in time for the train was classic Hope Valley teamwork 🚂 With some on point facial expressions!
“Hopefully they get to the train in time!” Emily said — and then relief:
“They made it to the train! It was delayed!” 🎉

So Minnie got her miracle and now she’s going to buy out Bill and make the cafe her own… “Minnie’s” it is!
💛 Heartfelt Moments (Because It’s Not WCTH Without Them)
Amid the chaos, there were still those classic heartfelt moments we love.
Faith’s struggle really resonated:
“Faith realising how hard it is to be there all the time for Lily,” Wen said
“Faith needs a chat — needs to find some work life balance,” Sharon added
And Elizabeth’s advice:
“Take Sundays off” — simple, but meaningful 💛
Then came one of the sweetest moments of the episode:
“Aaw, Ned giving Florence a jar with lots of his lovely memories of Florence!! ❤️” — Wen
“So sweet… beautiful idea,” Sharon added
Honestly, that scene melted everyone 🥹

💕 Nathan & Elizabeth (Finally!)
And then…
“Nathan and Elizabeth washing up like an old married couple!” Wen joked, before things turned deeper

“Sweet conversation between Nathan and Elizabeth about the kids,” Wen said
“Very sweet moment between the 2 of them,” Emily added
As they shared their hopes and fears, it felt like a real step forward ❤️

💥 That Cliffhanger
In the final moments, we’re back to the Infirmary. After some advice from Elizabeth, Faith is promising to find more time for Lily, and in the meantime offers a sweet way for Lily to know she’s always in her thoughts.

And this is bound to help the situation. Molly shares the news she’s been hiding…is that what was in that big envelope the other week? “Molly training as a nurse — so good for her,” Sharon noted — a lovely development and having another trained medical professional in town will surely ease Faith’s load.

And then BOOM the bombshell:
“The car was torched!”
“Christopher is gone!”
You could feel the shift instantly 😳🔥
🍿 Final Thoughts
As always, the ending came way too quickly:
“Aww it’s over!” — Emily
“Oh too soon it’s over!” — Wen
“The mystery continues!!” — Sharon
And honestly, that sums it up perfectly.
This episode had everything:
- community chaos 🍓
- laugh-out-loud moments 😂
- genuine emotion 💛
- and a gripping mystery 🔥
And maybe Tracy said it best:
“So much happening I got caught up watching instead of typing!”
Same, Tracy. Same 😄
