THE BLESSING BRACELET now streaming on GOOD is a heartwarming story of faith, hope, and second chances. Struggling single mother Dawn Spencer (Amanda Schull) is overwhelmed by financial hardships and personal setbacks when she stumbles upon an old bracelet she made years ago – one designed to remind her of life’s blessings. As she begins wearing it again, she rediscovers the power of gratitude, finding hope in the little things and strength in unexpected places.

Encouraged by her best friend and inspired by the renewed positivity in her life, Dawn starts creating blessing bracelets for others, spreading hope throughout her community. Along the way, she reconnects with Ben (Carlo Marks), a kind-hearted man from her past, who helps her see that love and faith can guide her through even the toughest times.

As Easter approaches, Dawn’s journey of gratitude and healing unfolds, showing that sometimes the smallest reminders can lead to the biggest transformations. THE BLESSING BRACELET is a touching and uplifting film about the power of faith, the importance of kindness, and the blessings that surround us every day.

The Real Dawn

The movie THE BLESSING BRACELET draws inspiration from the real-life creation of the Blessing Bracelet by Dawn Sprong, founder of Made As Intended. In 2006, Dawn crafted pearl bracelets as Christmas gifts, aiming to share a tangible reminder of gratitude with friends and family. Each bracelet featured a tag encouraging wearers to acknowledge one blessing in their life for each pearl, promoting a practice of mindfulness and thankfulness.

The concept resonated deeply, leading to the establishment of a company dedicated to spreading this message of gratitude. The bracelets gained popularity, symbolising the power of recognising everyday blessings. Inspired by Dawn’s journey and the impact of the bracelets, writers from Fubble Entertainment penned a screenplay that Hallmark later adapted into THE BLESSING BRACELET movie.

The film, while fictional, embodies the essence of Dawn’s message: that embracing gratitude can lead to renewed faith and positive transformation. It serves as a cinematic reflection of how simple acts, like wearing a bracelet, can inspire individuals to focus on the good in their lives, fostering hope and connection within communities.

The Blessing Bracelet began as a simple handmade gift for friends, but it quickly blossomed into a global movement. What started with a few thoughtful beads has now touched the lives of millions, encouraging wearers to pause and recognise the everyday blessings in their lives – from good health to warm conversations and even a perfect cup of coffee. It’s a gentle yet powerful reminder that gratitude has the ability to shift perspective and spark joy.

The Blessing Bracelet Message

“This is a Blessing Bracelet.  Whenever you wear it acknowledge one blessing in your life for each pearl on the bracelet.  Each time you are drawn to the bracelet, silently find four people or things you can be grateful for.  Be grateful for: Your children, a flower, your dog, a perfect cup of coffee, a roof over your head – just find something.  The more you wear the bracelet and the more blessings you find, the more you will be blessed.  In one year, if followed, you will be aware of a profound change in your life.”
