🗺️ The Wingfeather Saga Indoor Treasure Hunt

BY: Sharon Fitness for GOOD.

Here’s a fun, family-friendly indoor treasure hunt for kids (ages 4-12) themed around GOOD‘s latest family animation show, THE WINGFEATHER SAGA. It’s designed for a rainy day at home, with a mix of clues, activities, and tasks that tie into the adventures of Janner, Kalmar, Leeli, and the world of Aerwiar..

“Quest for the Jewels of Anniera”

Story Premise:

The Fangs of Dang have hidden the lost Jewels of Anniera somewhere in your home! The Igiby children need your help to follow the clues, solve challenges, and recover the treasure before Gnag the Nameless finds them first!

🧩 How It Works:
  • Designed for families to play together.
  • Ideal for a living room, bedroom, hallway, kitchen setting.
  • 7 Clues leading to the final treasure (prize chest). Find a suitable box and fill it with treats – (this could be anything from gold (chocolate) coins, little bags of popcorn, fruit leather, dried apple rings, or cookies, to stickers, small toys and costume jewellery or even ‘golden tickets’ that promise a trip to the movies or arcade.)
  • Along the way, there are Wingfeather-themed tasks & activities. And Riddle cards to win a bonus prize (an extra dip into the treasure box).
🪤 Setting up:
  • Head to the download page (HERE) to download your printable clue and riddle cards, or simply read them from your phone/tablet.
  • Prepare you reward/treasure and place it in the final destination.
  • Place the clue cards in the right location. For example, Clue 2 goes on the bookshelf, Clue 3 goes in the laundry or on the kitchen sink. Place the bonus riddle cards in position as well.
  • Prepare any other bonus items such as costumes/music. Help the kids make a “treasure map” of your house.

“Kalmar, once known as Tink,
Left some muddy prints by the sink.
Follow his trail, but be aware,
Fangs might be lurking there.”

I follow the kids through danger and all.
I may be a dog, but I’m part of the crew—
Sniffing out trouble is what I do!”
🎁 Answer: Nugget

Clue 3: Leeli’s Song of the Sea

📜 Clue Riddle:

Her music makes the Fangs retreat.

Activity – Sing or hum a Wingfeather tune (or favourite family song). Bonus: Create your own “Fang-fighting song.”

Clue 4: Nugget’s Secret Den

Snuggled where it’s soft inside.
Find his den where pillows are deep,
But mind the Fangs who might not sleep.”

Location Answer: Couch, pillow fort, or the dog’s favourite spot or bed.
Activity – Fang Detector:
Play a quick round of “Hot & Cold” to find a small hidden object (pretend it’s a Fang spy!).

BONUS Riddle: Who Am I?
“I’m wild and quick, a blur when I dash,
I’d rather run fast than take out the trash.
I love a good snack and a daring plan—
Guess who I am, if you can?”
🎁 Answer: Kalmar (Tink) Igiby

Clue 5: The Ridgerunner’s Sprint

📜 Clue Riddle:
“Ridgerunners leap from stone to stone,
Like a game of stepping alone.
In your house, the floor’s now lava,
Cross it safe, you little guava.”

Activity – Floor is Lava Challenge:
Use cushions or towels as “safe stones” to cross from one side of the room to the other.

BONUS Riddle: Who Am I?
“My legs are weak, but my voice is strong,
I play my harp and right what’s wrong.
The youngest Igiby, kind and bright—
Who am I, singing into the night?”
🎁 Answer: Leeli Igiby

Clue 6: Peet the Sock Man’s Gift

📜 Clue Riddle:
“Peet the Sock Man dances wild,
Protecting every Annieran child.
Look for socks, both new and old,

Activity – Silly Sock Dance:
Each player puts socks on their hands and does a funny “Peet dance” for 30 seconds.

Clue 7: The Jewels are Near!

They must be kept out of Gnag’s sight.
Search where treasures safe are kept,
A chest, a box, while Fangs have slept.”

Location Answer: Toy chest, storage box, or wardrobe.
Activity – Final Riddle Solve Together:
Before opening, there’s a final family riddle.

FAMILY Riddle: Who Am I?
“We fly and we sting, but we don’t have wings,
We serve Gnag the Nameless and do wicked things.
Watch your back in the forest at night—
What are we, that give children a fright?”
